Toyota says that everything is new for 2017 on the Toyota corolla except for the roof, with 2,000 new parts compared to 2014. It remains powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or 3.5-liter V-6-both paired with a six-speed automatic transmission-or in the Hybrid, a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder and Hybrid Synergy Drive system. The 2017 corolla offers more active-safety features than ever including a Pre-Collision System with Auto High Beams, Lane Departure Alert, and a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
